Lots of F1 and Karting in the news recently. Fresh after hearing about De Vries’ new relationship with MacLaren and Hamilton, he’s back in the news again. This time it’s more like a karting reunion. Hamilton and Rosberg are back to their roots and paying it back to where they started. Good for these guys keeping it Real!
Ok. ok. I know it’s 2010 already, but we never actually got a chance to reflect back in 2009. Kart Technik’s 2 top contributors and top tuners had quite the year and they never even got a chance to be behind the wheel. These guys are the real dirt underneath of your fingernails at the race track, but also the brains behind the race result.

The race is the last round of the 2009 Open Masters which was held last September in Castelletto di Branduzzo, in the province of Pavia. Massimo Aceto (Righetti Ridolfi driver confirmed for 2010) has just arrived at his new team. Non the less, he finishes the final of the KZ2 category in second place at the wheel of his Gold Kart. Or at least that is what everyone believes..So, Giampaolo Righetti, in that Open Masters race, was the kart a Gold Kart or not? No, the chassis underneath was an Allkart.
