Today could not have been any better. Once again Phil brought his A game, the Tony Kart was perfect and we started the morning off being fastest in the warmup session. Wimsett was very close behind with less the .03 seperating the two.

Nationals Update – Phil Starts P1 Tomorrow

We couldn’t have asked for a better performance from Phil today. Phil took two more heat wins to start in P1 for tomorrows races. The field is definitely tough with Joey Wimsett being very fast. It is going to be a great race. The two Northwest drivers have been very close all day in times. The weather is looking good for tomorrow.

Nationals Update – Arscott Wins Heat 1

Rotax Senior Qualifying

Joey Wimsett (Intrepid) set the pace during qualifying followed very closely by Phil Arscott (Tony Kart) with a gap of less then .08. We had a game plan to conserve our tires and only stay out for 5 laps in the 15 minute qualifying session, where the rest of the field had an extra 10 minutes on their tires. Arie Ouimet (CRG) was third quickest and only .08 off of Phil. From there the three had about two tenths on the rest of the field. Victor Pedrosa (Tony Kart) is 4th.

Final Round of the Coupe de Montréal this weekend!

St-Roch-de-L’Achigan, September 17th 2009. The final round of the Coupe de Montréal championship takes place this Saturday at SRA Karting in St-Roch-de-L’Achigan.
